The intermediate layer preparation technologies
The intermediate layer (interlayer) is a stabilized water-oil emulsion or “interlayer” that forms at the water-oil contact and acts as a barrier preventing the separation of water from oil and oil from water.
The field is a mixture of heavy oil, water and mechanical impurities, whose density coincides with the density of the mixture of oil and water and is therefore difficult to determine. Obtained during the effects on the reservoir, the site also contains asphaltenes, which can cover level gauges with an impermeable layer.
The field tends to grow exponentially, resulting in poor quality oil (flow with oil) or withdrawal from the water treatment unit (flow with water).
Oil companies may hire third-party organizations to dispose of the industrial layer from their facilities (increased costs) or may involve third-party organizations using mobile centrifuge installations (increased costs), or may consider our solutions.
Our company offers two solutions:
Slop-Oil Triter is a simple technological process in which the oil layer is heated to 150 ° C under a pressure of 5 atm. in a section similar to the standard Heather-Trieter. Then heated industrial evaporation operating under low pressure, where water passes into steam along with the light layer is supplied to the section with oil fractions and evaporates from the oil. The vapors are then condensed and the condensate and water are separated in a separate container.
